    Redwood Lodge was the perfect place to stay.

    I am an older American woman who was traveling alone. I had had a terrible day because of a flat tire on my rental car on a Sunday when no one could replace it. I did not have a room reserved in Westbury because I had planned to drive on from there, after viewing the Westbury chalk horse. Fortunately, I got a room at Redwood Lodge. I wrote to them that I did not know when I would arrive because I had to stay in the Aldi parking lot where my car was until it was all sorted out. When I arrived at Redwood, the owner, Sandy, offered me a glass of wine because she knew what a terrible day I had had. Then she told me she had a surprise for me. Her husband took me to the patio in the back and pointed to the distant hill where I could see the Westbury chalk horse. The room and bath were decorated very nicely and were immaculate. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Again there was lovely attention to detail in the decoration of the dining room and the table settings were beatifully arranged and had special napkins. All this and the price was very reasonable. It is people like Sandy and her husband who make travel so enjoyable. The staff of Aldi's grocery store in Westbury deserves a special mention too because they let me leave the car in their parking lot overnight to be taken to a garage in the morning.

    Very enjoyable.

    Staff, breakfast, quietness, view, location.

    Wasn't obvious that there was Wi-Fi, or where reception was when I arrived.
