Great Staff, awesome property and picture perfect Villa.
We were met by 3 lovely gentleman - very polite and well mannered. The property is next level luxury, incredible grounds and the Villa was architecturally brilliant. Our room was a little small but the service and food was excellent.
not much - the room was a bit small and there was a slight sewerage smell - but that is pretty normal for Sri Lanka

Beeindruckendes Ambiente, toller Gastgeber, gute letzte Nacht bevor wir nach Hause geflogen sind.
Das Anwesen/Villa ist traumhaft schön. Besonders von Außen. Der Garten/Park ist akkurat angelegt. Wenn das Tor aufgeht kommt man ins Staunen sobald man die lange Auffahrt hoch fährt. Auch innen ist die Villa überdimensioniert und luxuriös. Die Zimmer sind dann überraschenderweise doch recht klein genauso das Bad bzw. die Dusche und der Balkon war praktisch nicht vorhanden bzw. nicht als Balkon zu benutzen. Dafür war der Gastgeber herzlich, freundlich und fürsorglich. Er hat uns durch den Garten geführt und vieles erklärt und gezeigt. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, haben aber trotzdem ein sehr gutes Abendessen bekommen und ein gutes Frühstück. Danke.
Das Zimmer hätte für unsere Bedürfnisse etwas größer sein können.

Great option for a one or two night stay in a beautiful setting with great staff
Beautiful old colonial style property; very small boutique hotel just a few rooms but comfortable rooms and the property itself is quite large; great staff and incredibly friendly manager Goshi who knows a lot about the country.

Luxurious stay, perfect for the last night
High quality furniture, new & pretty premises. WiFi was working great. As soon as the gate opens, the busy noises of the traffic get left behind. Friendly and attentive staff. The canal (due to draught) in our room smelled, so we got a new room quickly. Loved the evening swim in the pool.
Prices of snacks/beverages are a bit higher compared to other hotels. Since the house was used privately before, it doesn’t feel like a hotel which makes the general area feels a little bit empty/like a museum. But room was cozy.

Would recommend it to all of my friends!
The staff was very nice and willing to make my stay as comfortable as can be. The food was really good! The manager helped me out finding some nice spots for my trip.
The location wasn’t very mentionable. There was a cafe and a supermarket on walking distance if needed. But if you like tranquility, this is the place to be.
