    A pleasant 4-night stay overall.

    The location was good with enough restaurants nearby for meals. I was quite impressed by the spacious front entrance making it easy for the driver to pick us up for a private tour, also convenient to call taxis. There was a stop for the Hop On Hop Off sightseeing bus just right outside the front entrance. The room was quite spacious, had everything we needed: comfortable double bed, desk, sofa. On our last day, we had to go to Taipei Main Station to pick up our car rental, the hotel staff was very helpful after we got into the taxi, he double checked the precise location of the car rental place to make sure the taxi driver took us to the right place. As seniors, my husband and I really appreciated that extra effort.

    There didn't seem to be enough choice of restaurants in the hotel for us to choose our meals. Also we did not book breakfast with our package as we found the price too high. I didn't realise Regent belongs to the IHG chain, I could've used my IHG membership to book instead of going through Booking. com.
