beautiful stay and generous host, can recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Of course the location, perched on a hill, all glass windows and sweeping views, immersed in nature, birds everywhere was amazing, but, what was truly wonderful, was the generosity of the stay and warmth of the host. The home and stay was like a huge hug, with immaculate, fresh clean white sheets, loads of fresh towels, loads of wood for the fire, freshly baked and homemade treats to eat, everything to use in the home to amuse yourself and the most honest invitation from the host to make it your temporary home and truly enjoy your stay! Thank you!

Magnificent View, especially sunrise. homegrown produce, and olive oil and honey. Comfy bed. Warm fire Mathew was a very nice person.

The most comfortable seat for my back comfort was at the table or laying on the bed.

The drive to the property itself felt like a secret mission but when we arrived we were met by a very cute and charming studio, which made the stay feel homely and secluded. Large windows overlooked the yard and surrounding mountains, creating a beautiful view. If you're lucky, you'll catch some wildlife on the property - we saw cute wallabies, a deer, a fox, and plenty of native birds. Heard the kookaburra one morning too. It had also been a long time since we’d stayed somewhere with a real wood-fired heater instead of standard electric heating, so that felt super nice to slow down, rewind, and unwind. Really loved the herb garden too and used some of the thyme and rosemary in our cooking. Matthew also provides local and organic food, which was a very thoughtful touch and added to the overall experience. Ideal place for a relaxing couple’s retreat rather than a family-style stay, especially if you’re looking for peace, privacy, and time to switch off.

The only real downside was the number of flies. We think there was a hidden army somewhere secretly deploying troops. To Matthew's credit, when we mentioned it, he took it seriously and was sincere in helping where he could.
