Ruhige, gepflegte Unterkunft für Selbstverpfleger, die mobil sind
Das Apartment liegt auf einem ehemaligen Bauernhof etwas ausserhalb von Middleton, ruhig gelegen aber fußläufig keine Pubs oder Geschäfte in der Nähe. Perfekte Kommunikation über eMail zur Anfahrt, Zugang zum Gelände und Schlüsselsafe. Gastgeber Robert hat uns außerdem noch bei Ankunft begrüßt und einige Ausflugtipps für die Gestaltung des nächsten Tages und Abendessen (Pizzeria Middleton) gegeben. Bei Ankunft war der Kühlschrank in der komplett ausgestatteten Küche vorgekühlt, und es waren bereits Eiswürfel eingefroren! Die Zimmer waren geräumig und boten ausreichen Platz,, um pro Zimmer zwei Koffer platzieren zu können, ohne dass diese im Weg waren.
Das Konzept der Mülltrennung hat sich uns nicht erschlossen (wo waren die Abfallbehälter?). Wir haben somit nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen nach Restmüll, Plastik, Papier und Glas getrennt - hier könnte eventuell noch mit genaueren Hinweisen nachgebessert werden.

Good location. Very clean. Very Comfortable beds.
Recent trip to Midleton to meet with my sisters. Some pointers to note re Reillys farm. Difficult and quite dangerous to find the house on a very dak and busy road. Could do with some lit signage. Three cars arriving all had the same difficulty. Key safe is also a challenge to negotiate in the dark as when using a torch the reflection makes it hard to see. The accommodation is very clean and the beds comfortable. Probably not the best for a cosy night in as, although the couch was comfortable the chairs are definately not. Also note there is no TV which I probably should have checked but didn't think that was necessary as I would have assumed that was a standard requirement. As would a corkscrew. Our checkout was delayed due to us waiting for the hot water to reheat in the kitchen to wash the breakfast dishes only to recieve an abrupt email telling us to vacate as the cleaner had arrived. All in all it wasn't the usual cèad mìle fàilte that we usually enjoy on our travels. My sister continued her journey to her next stop in Kildare where she was greeted with a warm smile and homemade scones, a beautiful Christmas tree super comfortable chairs, and, guess what, a tv and even a corkscrew. All for 150 euros cheaper than Reillys farm for a two night stay. All in all, reillys farm is adequate but the vibe is, pay your money, get in, get out, next please
