    Comfortable stay but disappointed with the (lack of) view

    The cabin's highlight was the living room area, which had high ceilings, skylight and a kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin itself was clean and the beds were comfortable, with convenient parking out front. The reception being open was helpful, and the location was beautiful, though you do need to drive to nearby towns for amenities like restaurants or grocery stores.

    The photos in this listing were quite deceptive as it wasn't clear which cabin we would be allocated until we arrived (Tørrfiskbrygga #1). As such, we were allocated one of the worst cabins, where you could only see the other apartments and only the mountains (obstructed by other rorbuer) at an angle. This should be specified in the way the room options are listed (rather than just 'Apartment') or clearly labelled in the photos on Booking.com, especially given the price we paid. The rooms were also extremely small, particularly for two couples, and struggled to accommodate multiple suitcases. Note the bathroom did not have shampoo, conditioner and some slippers would have helped as well.
