    Excellent location, but unacceptable cleanliness and conditions

    The apartment is located in a historic building in a lively area with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The historic centre and main tourist attractions are within a 15-minute walk.

    The apartment requires significant modernisation, with outdated furnishings and walls that need repainting. It was not sufficiently clean, and during the stay we found a cockroach in the kitchen near the sink raised serious hygiene concerns and led us to leave and find alternative accommodation at short notice. Although the owner was responsive and offered alternative accommodation or a partial refund starting from the following day, the compensation did not adequately reflect the stress, additional expenses and inconvenience we experienced. Having paid over €2,000, we found the overall standard unacceptable for the price. Poor value for money, would not stay here again.

    So very central. Able to walk to almost everywhere from there. The host was just so lovely and very helpful. Nothing was a problem. Would recommend to anyone.

    Soggiorno ottimo che consiglio vivamente.

    Posizione estremamente centrale. Metro sotto casa e tutti i luoghi di interesse raggiungibili a piedi con grande facilità.

    An attractive apartment in a great location

    I and my two grown up children have just had a wonderful week's stay in Valencia, primarily to view the total eclipse. The apartment was lovely - comortable, great air/con, very clean, and nicely decorated. Alfonso kindly brought a yoga mat round for me and made sure we had everything we needed, which we did! Located in an elegant street, we enjoyed nipping often to the delightful area of Russafa with its fresh produce market and excellent dining options and vintage shops, only a 5 minute walk away. A really perfect location for the cathedral area (a 20 mins walk) and other visitor attractions, with metro stops nearby.
