    Four families, 13 people including 5 children, booked all six rooms in the main building for ten days. On arrival the communal areas were dirty and had clearly not been properly cleaned before check-in. Far more seriously, there were live rats moving through the communal areas, including the shared kitchen where all of us prepared and stored our food. We found droppings(see pictures) across the kitchen surfaces and inside a drawer. We reported this on the first day. For three days nothing effective happened beyond a partial wipe-down of some surfaces. After three days rat poison was placed in the communal areas — including spaces our children used every day — and that was the end of the response. The rats were still there for the rest of the stay. We disinfected the kitchen surfaces before every single use and kept all our food sealed in our rooms. We were also told before booking that renting all the rooms would give our group exclusive use of the villa. That turned out not to be the case. A kitchen shared by guests is not a place where you should be finding rats one week and rodenticide the next. Beautiful location, but we could not recommend staying here.

    Villa fantastica e camera molto spaziosa. Bella piscina e giardino spazioso con angoli di relax come l amaca. Bel salotto. Bella tv nel salone.

    Doccia poco comoda. Materasso da cambiare sicuramente. Mancava la TV in camera.
