    Would never return. Have never been treated so rudely in Italy.

    We experienced car trouble on our way to the hotel, arriving at 8:25 pm. There was no signage for parking so my husband went into the gated area where our sat nav indicated the hotel was located. It was dark, and it was difficult navigating the property. When he finally located the hotel he was vehemently scolded by Angela at reception. She yelled at him for being late and was angry because "the ladies leave at 8!" Well, how were we to know this? There was nothing on any of their communications or website saying that checking in after 8 pm was a problem. Her unpleasantness effectively spoiled our night's stay. Additionally, it is only upon checking in that the information regarding the pool and breakfast is communicated. Specifically, that the pool is closed from 6 pm until 11 am the following morning. As check out is at 11 am, that meant no early morning swim which was the compelling reason behind our selection of the property in the first place. They also upcharge you for breakfast. Eggs, bacon, fresh juice are all extra money. Our, happily very brief, stay there was deeply unpleasant. It was the only bad experience we had touring Northern Italy, I've never written a negative review on Booking before this.

    Sehr stilvoll renoviertes Haus mit auserlesenem Mobiliar. Äusserst freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und reichhaltiges Frühstück.
