  Das Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe über dem Hafen von Forio, in bester Lage, um zu Fuß ins Zentrum zu gelangen. Am Hafen ist auch die sympathische Bar, wo man frühstückt. Es gibt köstlichen Kaffee und ein frisches Cornetto. Voucher dafür gibt es im Hotel. Mit der Hotel-Besitzerin Emilia ist man im WhatsApp-Kontakt. Vor Ort wohnt die Haushälterin als Ansprechperson. Emilia gab mir ein Upgrade: Meerblick-Zimmer mit Terrasse. Vielen vielen Dank dafür! Sauberkeit und Ausstattung lassen allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Am Ende der Saison ist vieles kaputt: die Halterung in der Badewanne ausgerissen, der Stuhl im Bad wackelte gefährlich, in der Badewanne waren noch die Seifenreste meiner Vorgänger, und auch die Terrasse wurde nie gekehrt. Die Nächte im Oktober sind schon sehr kühl. Erst nach 2 Nächten des Frierens bekam ich endlich eine wärmende Zusatzdecke. Erholsam und sehr positiv waren für mich der wunderschöne Ausblick über die Bucht aufs Meer und die grüne Insel. Spektakulär die Sonnenuntergänge.

  My favourite stay in Italy, with stunning views, a kind host, and the perfect location in Forio.

  This was my favourite stay on my Italy trip. The location was perfect for me as a solo traveller, with easy access to Forio port, bus stops, and taxi rank. The view from the property was gorgeous, looking out over the marina and bay, with stunning sunsets. One night I sat on the balcony for hours watching a lightning storm out at sea which was unforgettable. The area felt safe at night, and everything I needed was close by - restaurants, bars, shops, even a lovely winery (Pietratorcia) just up the road. The bus system also made exploring the island really easy. My room was clean, tidy and comfortable. I had a triple room to myself but it would have been fine for three people. The large balcony was a real highlight, the gardens at the back were lovely, and the air conditioning made it extra comfortable. Breakfast was at a nearby café where I enjoyed coffee and cornetti every morning, which was a really nice routine to start the day. The host Emilia was amazing. She was so kind, welcoming and helpful, with great local recommendations. I even bumped into her at the café one morning and she was just as lovely in person. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone.

  It wasn't an issue for me, but the hill up to the residence is quite steep, which may be a challenge for some people.

  Soggiorno splendido, breve ma intenso!

  Posizione splendida, con vista sul porto. Colazione ottima in un bar molto vicino. Molto centrale, si raggiungono facilmente e a piedi i posti più notevoli. Fermata del bus vicinissima.

  Sarebbe utile un cartello all'inizio della salita che porta alla villa, dal momento che il navigatore può sbagliare facilmente (ci sono due strade con lo stesso nome)

  Ho alloggiato qui e mi sono trovato davvero benissimo. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile, sempre attenta alle esigenze degli ospiti. La struttura è pulita e curata, in una posizione davvero comoda per muoversi e visitare l’isola. Colazione buona . Consiglio assolutamente, soggiorno perfetto!
