  A great stay in spite of the neglect by the owners

  The outdoor pool made the holiday, enjoyed by all the children and adults. Lots of facilities for everyone to have a good time. We enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

  All sorts of things not checked to make sure they worked properly. Far too many lights not working to list here. Lee or the owners should stay here a couple of days to see what needs done. eg, radiators mostly cold as they need bleeding. The ensuite jacuzzi is leaking and the pop-up plug is broken. The his and her basins - one light works, the other doesn't, and only one has a plug. The walk-in wardrobe has a drawer that needs fixing - one of the runners just needs a screw to put in back in place. The kitchen macerator isn't working. The foot rests of 3 of the bar stools have broken off. Amazingly, for a 4 double bedroom property there are only 6 seats at the table, and the support of one has collapsed and is uncomfortable to sit on. To have to bring 2 seats for us all to sit round the table is ridiculous. Various existing damages should have been flagged up to us so we knew we were not to be blamed for them eg, the slash in the snooker table cloth, the broken recliner armchair, the broken window in the ensuite bathroom.

  We had a fab time! The house is big and bold with amazing outdoor facilities

  Great location near a really cute high street. Very responsive host with great check in instructions. Easy to use lock box. House was very tidy and clean inside. Lots of space indoors and great outdoor area. Loved the very large hot tub. Good WiFi. Huge TV screen connected to all the apps. Reasonably well stocked kitchen.

  Beds could have been comfier - very soft, I probably wouldn’t have wanted to stay more than a few nights for this reason. Cheap feeling bed covers. We found it a little difficult to use the electric aga oven, but figured it out eventually - perhaps a page on how to use this in the booklet would be good!

  House was amazing and location, shame it's been a little bit neglected and lacked the luxurious touches. Eg welcome hamper. Had a lovely time with the family though

  Hot tub very cloudy and strong chlorine Not enough chairs outside Several bees and hornets in the house so couldn't keep windows and doors open

  The place was amazing, so big and so beautiful. Wanted to stay forever. The weather was a bonus as well. So so pleased we came.

  Nothing really just a swarm of bees took over the top floor stair balcony window so we keep the curtains closed but otherwise didn't spoil anything about our stay
