Bad experience, loud apartment in the city center
Great location right in the city center, pretty apartment
There are 3 floors of stairs to get to the top room with no elevator. Stairs are also super tiny. Owners were not very responsive, we it took them a long time to get back to us on early check in (which was denied on the same day). House is super loud, you can hear every step & conversation in the other rooms so we kept waking up as some of the other guests came back late from clubbing and some others left early for the marathon, so barely any sleep. There are also constructions with drilling next door. Finally the bathroom smells badly of sewers (maybe the works next door, unsure)

Great apartment in old town.
A lovely apartment situated next to Sa Llotja and only a stones throw from the cathedral. Entry was very easy with door codes provided on day of arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast each morning and the bed was very comfortable, with extra pillows if required. Separate air conditioning controllers for the bedroom and living area was a bonus. Nice bathroom with spacious shower cubicle. There's also a nice roof terrace. A perfect base for exploring this beautiful city. We have stayed in various apartments in the city over the last few years and would definitely choose this one again!
Be warned the stairs are very narrow and steep! There seemed to be a drain smell from the bathroom most afternoons, which went away.
