  An extremely unpleasant experience

  To begin with the positives: the apartment is located in an upscale suburb and is very quiet. However, you need a car to reach the city centre, or at least to get to the main road where the bus stops. The apartment is very spacious, about 120 square metres, on the fourth floor, overlooking the street at the front and a small yard at the back. It is quite sunny, but there is no lift, which could make it difficult for people with disabilities or older guests.

  Now to the negatives. The flat has clearly been furnished in a hurry to serve as a Booking.com money-maker. The apartment had not been cleaned. There were used kitchen utensils and dishes in the dishwasher, which shows that the cleaning staff had not even bothered to look inside. There was no washing-up liquid. The toilet brush had a broken handle, so it was unusable, which is very disappointing considering the apartment had supposedly been cleaned the day before or something like that. The shower head was clogged with limescale, so we had to remove it and shower using just the hose; otherwise the water pressure was so low that the gas water heater wouldn’t switch on and there was no hot water. There were grease stains on the kitchen walls, and overall the apartment gave a very unclean impression. The WC tap was also not working. We contacted the person in charge about an hour after discovering all this. He simply sent us a phone number and asked us to send pictures, but never called back or did anything to fix the situation, not even replace the toilet brush. In hindsight, it’s easy to see why the apartment is considerably cheaper than average. For a family of four it might be an option if you’re flexible and not too particular about cleanliness. But keep in mind that you need a car, and hopefully someone will buy a new toilet brush.

  The apartment is spacious and bright.

  The floor was very dirty, the sheets had some stains and there was almost no water pressure for hot water.

  Super logement bien placé

  Emplacement, sympathie et arrangement de la part des propriétaires, emplacement : quartier calme et agréable. L'appartement est spacieux et joliment aménagé.

  Appartement propre, silencieux, bien équipé, très pratique avec mes 2 enfants. Hôte très sympathique, réactif très rapidement. Centre de Bruxelles accessible facilement avec les transports en commun. Je recommande
