My husband and I had to spend few hours to clean the apartment for us to enjoy our time. Location great but the owner ne
We stayed in this apartment 10 years ago thinking this time the apartment would be the same but NO, the photos on the website was not the same as what we saw on line. The bathroom with the shower is did not have shower door had shower curtain which was dirty. The lounge room had 2 lounges one was ripped and the other had a cover over the lounge to cover the tears. The bedroom the mirrors had cracks. The bathroom with spa the door had holes and the toilet did not work. The location was amazing as we we always stay near the fountain.
Jacob who let us in was lovely and walked us through the apartment, as soon we walked in asked why sofa lounge is out he was told we wanted it. We said no it’s only us 2 here. Asked to have the sofa lounge closed he advised the sofa lounge is broken can not be closed. Well I said not acceptable. My husband and Jacob tried to close it but couldn’t. Jacob suggested I call the property management so I did and their response was can get maintenance in to fix but won’t be til 7pm and may not be fixed. Well wasn’t impressed and advised wanted another apartment. They could provide another apartment but not in the same location. Then I asked for a discount and was advised due to booking through booking.com had to ask booking.com. So I messaged booking.com didn’t get a reply til next day, they advised looking into getting a refund, well we are back home still waiting on the refund. My husband and I googled how to fix the lounge bed while we were having lunch (not a great start to our trip) and we finally got it fixed and messaged the property management. No response. The property wasn’t cleaned. There was a dirty towel in the draw in the bedroom, the shower curtain on the bottom had mould and the larger bathroom the door had a hole. The lounges were ripped and one had a cover to cover the tears.

Great location, plenty of room.
The AC did not work the first day/night. We could not sleep because of how hot it was. It just kept turning off. I notified them, then after that, it stayed on the next couple days, but still was not very cold. After I complained, they didn’t bring us a fan which help helped out immensely. I hope the plan stays there for future renters comfort.
