  The apartment is located in a very nice and central neighbourhood, which was definitely one of its positive aspects. Unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing, particularly given that we stayed for seven nights.

  First of all, the apartment was not particularly clean. The floor was quite dirty and there were spider webs in several areas of the apartment. More importantly, the listing stated that there was a sofa bed, which was simply not true. There was only a very small two-seater sofa in the living room, which could not be converted into a bed. This is an important issue, especially for guests booking the property based on the information provided in the listing. On the second day of our stay, the air conditioning broke down. This happened during a period of extremely high temperatures and a heatwave in Venice. As we were staying for seven nights, the situation became particularly difficult and uncomfortable. We immediately contacted the host and asked for the air conditioning to be repaired and, until that happened, requested some fans. Unfortunately, the host was neither particularly polite nor helpful and refused to provide fans. We were only told by email that she would look into repairing the air conditioning, without providing any clear timeframe. On the third day of our stay, while we were away from the apartment, we were informed by email that a technician had entered the property and installed a cooling device. We were not informed beforehand that someone would enter the apartment, which we found very uncomfortable and inappropriate. Unfortunately, the device did not actually cool the apartment. Furthermore, in order for it to discharge water, we had to leave the balcony door open and place the water pipe outside towards the courtyard. Apart from being ineffective, this created obvious security concerns for both us and our belongings, as the balcony door had to remain open. At that point, given the unbearable heat and the fact that the main cooling system was still not functioning, we asked to leave the apartment and receive a refund for the remaining nights. The host refused.

  I will not stay there again. Air-conditioning did not work and staff are not helpful.

  Is proximity to the Jewish Ghetto

  The air-conditioning did not work and it was extremely hot, uncomfortable, and ruined my vacation.

  Leider gab es beim Wohnzimmer.beim linken Fenster kein Vorhang. Abet sonst alles Top.
