여행을 마친 뒤 숙소를 떠올릴 때, 오래 남는 것은 시설보다 사람의 온도인 듯합니다. 이곳은 직원들의 친절한 응대가 특히 인상적이었습니다. 머무는 동안 편안하게 환대받고 있다는 느낌이 들어, 낯선 도시에서도 한결 마음이 놓였습니다. 조식은 아침을 가볍게 시작하기에 무난했고, 위치도 좋아 마나마를 둘러보기에 편리했습니다. 여행의 만족도를 높이는 것은 결국 이런 기본적인 요소들이 얼마나 잘 갖춰져 있느냐에 달려 있다는 생각이 들었습니다. 화려한 수식어보다는 ‘머무는 내내 편안했던 곳’이라는 말이 잘 어울립니다. 마나마를 다시 찾는다면 자연스럽게 떠올릴 만한 숙소입니다.
다소 아쉬웠던 점은 주차장 이용이었습니다. 만차였던 것인지, 이용 차량이 SUV라 크기 제한이 있었던 것인지 정확한 이유는 알 수 없으나 호텔 주차장에 진입하지 못했습니다. 다만 주변 공터 등 주차할 수 있는 공간이 충분해 실제로 큰 불편은 없었습니다.
