Fantastic
We had such a wonderful stay here! The room was absolutely huge, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed, including a private bathroom and TV. We were also welcomed with a lovely bottle of white wine, which was such a nice touch. 🍷 The view from our room was incredible — we had both a beautiful sea and pool view, as well as a huge balcony where we could really enjoy it. The breakfast was lovely, with a good selection to start the morning, and the staff were genuinely amazing. Honestly, some of the nicest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met at a hotel, especially the reception staff. They really made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. The location is also excellent. It’s around a 10–15 minute walk to the city centre and only about 5 minutes from the beach. There are two convenient routes to the beach, one closer to the city centre and another practically right next to the hotel. Overall, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! ❤️
Honestly, there wasn’t anything we disliked about the property itself as mentioned before we loved it. The only thing worth mentioning is the distance from the train station, especially if you’re travelling when it’s raining. It’s around a 20-minute walk, which can be inconvenient with luggage or bad weather. Taxis are available and cost around €20 to the train station, but Uber is not really reliable in this area — we tried using it, but unfortunately couldn’t get a driver. One more thing to keep in mind if you’re travelling by train: trains can occasionally be cancelled, so I would recommend planning some extra time, especially if you have a flight to catch. We actually had our train cancelled on the way to the airport and had to arrange a taxi with the help of local people. It took us quite some time to figure everything out. So, these are not really problems with the hotel itself, but just something to be aware of when planning transportation in Tropea.
