Beautiful, tranquil property with attentive staff — a lovely place to stay!
Beautiful, tranquil property with highly attentive staff, lovely common spaces inside and outdoor patios! Our room was magnificent - a large space with gorgeous antique furniture, and beautiful tiled floors. It was plenty of room for the two of us.
It got a little hectic with a very large group for dinner, but the staff managed it well and we were happy to relax with a slow meal.

Wes Anderson vibes!
A travel back in time where amenities and comforts are straight out of the 1960s, from the tiny toiletry bottles and soaps, to the massive room keys that you need to leave at the receptions. Wes Anderson vibes which was delightful to us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Old world decor with antiques and artworks. Loved the common spaces, especially the outdoor garden. The island bus runs regularly to the ferry that goes into Venice proper. We enjoyed the more quiet Lido vibe.
The pillows were really hard! The beds, though not terrible could be more comfortable.

Exactly what we liked: quiet area with large rooms and green spaces where we could relax.
It is a charming hotel with an extensive garden and incredibly friendly, helpful staff. While the main hotel building is historic, our room was located in a newer—but no less charming—building and included a balcony. It was wonderful to sit out there and look over the huge plane tree in the garden. The common areas in the buildings were beautifully decorated with antique objects, from paintings and furniture to unique puppets and fixtures.
