Nice but no water pressure
Location is spectacular
The only problem was the showers had zero pressure. Washing your hair was impossible but even just taking a shower wasn’t very satisfying. Other than that, a great place

Residenza della Signoria is exceptionally close to the heart of Florence, making it easy to walk to the Duomo, museums, restaurants and many of the city’s major sights. The staff does not speak very much English, so it is difficult to communicate needs. The tradeoff for such a central location is that the surrounding area is heavily touristed. The bells from the Duomo are very loud, particularly if you are a light sleeper. This is a good choice for travelers who prioritize being in the center of everything. I would recommend bringing earplugs and being prepared for the energy and crowds that come with staying in Florence’s historic center.

Location
Check-in. The reservation was under my name, we started talking in English. But as soon as the receptionist realized the person I stayed with speaks Italian she instantly ignored me and switched to Italian like if that was my friend’s job to translate info to me. I had to remind the lady that I was still there, and that was something she considered obviously somehow rude and the vibe changed overall, so this whole thing of course affected the mood of the day overall
