    The property is close to the waterfront, bars, and restaurants.

    There is no elevator, and dragging a suitcase up the narrow stairs is quite inconvenient. There was neither soap nor shower gel in the room. We contacted the host about this problem, but they didn't help at all, saying that this had never happened before, so we had to go buy it ourselves. This happened at night, after a long trip. Also, there's construction right opposite the building. It gets very noisy starting at 8 AM.

    Check in was easy once I made contact with the owner - he was quick to respond when contacted (he had an old email so I did not get the check in instructions initially). Friendly and obliging though never met him, all communication by WhatsApp, had an occasion to ask for something in the morning and the housekeeper had delivered before we got back later in the afternoon. Property has been recently refurbished, everything was in good condition, room was very small just about big enough for the double bed. Tea/coffee making facilities. Good shower with plenty of hot water plus soaps and towels provided plus hair drier. Location was excellent just off the front road of the old town quayside, 1 minute walk to many restaurants, bars and shops. Despite that, lication was quiet.

    A couple of minor things - Limited ability to dry towels after showering unless hung out of the window (which we did!) - No bedside light so had to get up to turn off main light.
