Mooi omgeving en mooie tuin
kamers waren gedateerd en best oud, we hadden via Booking betaald en bij het uitchecken vertelde de eigenaar dat er niet betaald was waardoor wij na een uur nogmaals hebben betaald.( dit terwijl ik mijn creditkaartbetaling liet zien ) De zelfde dag kregen we te horen dat we de dubbele betaling van Booking terug kregen ( dat was niet fijn )

The property is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by gorgeous gardens, mature trees and stunning scenery. The pool was absolutely amazing and was definitely the highlight of our stay — it was beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing. The staff were also lovely, courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The lady looking after breakfast was particularly friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, the accommodation itself was disappointing in several areas. The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived, with grime on the tiles and shower screens, and the toilet was leaking from the bottom, which caused an unpleasant smell. During our four-night stay, our towels weren’t changed and I had to ask for clean towels on the third day. We were also only provided with two rolls of toilet paper and had to keep asking for more when we ran out. The beds were quite old and uncomfortable. Breakfast was €8 per person and, although the lady serving it was lovely, the breakfast itself was quite basic. The owner requested cash as he said his card machine would not work. We laid the amount and have since requested a receipt numerous times with no avail. We needed the receipt for a refund from booking.com for a previously cancelled accommodation.
