    Good location, bad interior.

    Good location, nice little kitchen.

    The room smelled horrobly like cigarettes. Maybe that’s the retro about it, with a non operational air-conditioner and a fan that was just enough to stir the smelly air around. We had a very late night self check-in and that is the only reason we stayed. The table in the room was sticky, and there were some old stains on the bedsheets. They were washed i hope but still its not the best feeling to go to sleep in stuff like that.

    The room is large

    They contacted me enthusiastically asking me to leave a 5-star review to support their business, but unfortunately my experience was very bad. The room had a very strong and strange smell, similar to old cigarette smoke. The bathroom sink smelled bad and made strange gurgling noises. There was also constant noise from upstairs—heavy footsteps, children running, crashing sounds, and people talking—which made it extremely difficult to rest. After I explained these problems and said that I could not honestly give 5 stars, the host stopped responding. I contacted them again the next day to inform them that I was leaving one night earlier. Their only response the following morning was, “Thank you, have a lovely day,” without acknowledging any of my complaints or the fact that I had left early. The unpleasant condition of the room, continuous noise, and dismissive communication made this a very disappointing stay. A host should care about the guest’s actual experience, not only about receiving a good rating.
