  We stayed here for 10 days with my wife and our three grandchildren, and halfway through our stay, the children’s parents joined us. It was our first time in this part of the Czech Republic. The area is absolutely beautiful, with lots of greenery and water, and plenty of lovely places to walk and explore. As for the villa: this was probably the best experience we have had in many years of renting holiday villas (something we have been doing regularly since the COVID pandemic). The villa is new, spotlessly clean, spacious, and has everything you could possibly expect — and even more. There is a wonderful swimming pool, a jacuzzi, four showers, four toilets, five bedrooms, and a fireplace, as well as a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. Everything is extremely comfortable, practical, and well thought out. We were also welcomed with a minibar stocked with various drinks, coffee beans, and other treats. I would especially like to mention the wonderful attitude and responsiveness of the hosts. At one point, the jacuzzi ran out of chlorine and the water became cloudy. I called the owner, who happened to be abroad on holiday at the time. Within 20 minutes, her father and brother arrived, changed the water, thoroughly cleaned everything, and made sure the jacuzzi was working perfectly again. When we were leaving, the owner’s father came to collect the keys and even brought us a small souvenir “for the road.” It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. A huge thank you to Klara and her family. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back. If I could give this place “douze points,” I absolutely would!

  Das Haus ist wirklich wunderschön, sauber,der Pool sowie Whirlpool ein Traum. Gerne wieder

  Das ist jetzt meckern auf hohem Niveau...der Bodenbelag am Pool müsste ausgebessert werden. Die Kids hatten öfters mal einen Splitter erhalten. Aber mit Badelatschen geht alles.

  Exceptional

  This wonderful house exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We enjoyed the common area, the clean rooms and kitchen, the herb garden, and the kids loved the pool. A nice surprise was the brook winding around the house.

  Amazing place, great hosts, not so quiet neighbors

  This house was a dream come true. It offers everything you could think of. An outdoor pool with a roof and heating which is great for rainy days, a fireplace outside to enjoy the moment the rain stops and so much more. The garden is beaufitul and well designed. The attention to detail is amazing. For instance, there is a small path/ladder to reach a stream that flows right in front of the premises. There is also a little terrace to have a coffee right next to the stream. Parents can have a drink inside or outside while watching the kids play near the stream or in a play/treehouse. The staff managing the house was very nice and attentive. The house is very well situated to reach many beautiful places nearby.

  If you look for a house that is totally secluded, I would recommend a different place. In fact, the house is situated next to a road. This is not a big problem as at night there are very few cars passing and the beautiful sound of the stream is more dominant. On the other side of the premise, however, there is some sort of a bungalow park. Our hosts did their best to convice our neighbors not to be loud (at one point there was a volleyball tournament right next door). Still, until late at night you could hear people having a good time in front of their bungalows. To be clear: This cannot be blamed on Rezidence Za Vodou or its staff and they actually try their best to help their guests have a quiet, relaxing vacation. Things also depend on who is staying at the bungalow park and when the windows are closed you could hardly hear anything. People who are not too sensitive should'nt worry about this. But I thought I would mention this for people looking for 100 percent quiet.
