  The apartment is small and chic and it has everything you need: cooking ustensils and coffee, tea, microwave, stove appliences, AC (which is absolutely neccesary in Rhodes). It is a private location, quiet, good for resting. The village is small but it has nearby a supermarket with great baked bread, there is also a restaurant for lunch and dinner and other places for coffee and others. We didnt have a designated parking place but there are place you can find to park. For me it was a little inconvenient just because we are not used ti such narrow streets. Most days we found a bigger parking place nearby. The advantage is that from this village you can reach many more beaches, but to visit Rhodes center and new town is a must.. The streets in Malonas are narrow so it is better to rent a small car. For us it took about 2 days to get used to such narrow roads. We rented a toyota aigo x from "Rhodos rent a car" with full insurrance + glass and bottom car insurance. Some beaches are reached by stone roads and it can be risky. For larger of more diverse groceries there are lidl supermarkets near Rhodes city. As a side note, independent of Malonas, I was surprised by the food prices in Rhodos, to me it seemed food is expensive in supermarkets and in tavernas. Overall, we loved our stay in Rhodos.

  Small studio style house in pleasant village- great for a couple. (Car essential!)

  Very clever interior design makes this small house comfortable and with ample storage. Parking available outside (small car!!!). Well equipped kitchen. Great communication from hosts. Very clean and pleasant studio-style house in a small village. Good value Village has supermarket (daily bread), tavern and another bar/ restaurant

  Worst thing was the booking.com directions map! Once we contacted the host directly we found that the owners have actually managed to get the house correctly placed on google maps- what a pity booking.com uses their rather fanciful ‘directions’. The village is small and streets are narrow- not sure this is a negative point, but definitely not good for a large car.
