  Our stay here was lovely , location was great, the views were stunning , very comfortable, our host Zahra served a delic

  The property was beautiful inside, every room was perfect , it was exceptionally clean , everything worked in good order, the views from the rooftop were amazing, The breakfast was delicious, the ladyZahra was so helpful and gave us good recommendations before we arrived We were 7 ladies exploring Essaouria & this was the perfect place to stay for us 😍

  The only down side to this property is the walk way to the front door, it’s smelly from the cats, very much like most walkways in Essouria and there rubbish around , but when you enter the property it’s beautiful

  The staff

  At one time, this must have been a stellar property, and you can still see glimpses of what made it special. Unfortunately, today it feels tired, run down and in need of attention. The staff were pleasant, but the property itself was disappointing. It did not feel particularly clean, and there was a persistent musty smell, compounded by unpleasant odors coming back up through the drains. This was especially noticeable in and around the dining area, which made eating there less than appealing. There is indeed a sea view, as advertised, but what the photos do not really convey is that immediately outside the windows is a beach that, during our stay, was heavily littered with garbage. That of course can't be helped by the owner but we were surprised given the prominence of the advertised "sea view." We raised our concerns about the condition of the property. Rather than addressing them, we were told to check out the following morning, even though we had not asked to leave. The staff themselves were pleasant and helpful, so our criticism is not directed at them. Our issue was with the condition of the property and how our concerns were handled. There is clearly the foundation of what must once have been a wonderful riad, but based on our experience, unfortunately this is not somewhere we could recommend or would return to.

  Zahra is a very kind host, breakfast was amazing every morning and the place has spectacular views of the sea, the riad is located right next to the medina and the sea, you cant beat that!
