  A Disappointing Experience Despite Some Positive Aspects

  The riad has simple facilities, tastefully decorated. The staff member who welcomed us was friendly and pleasant, and we appreciated the thoughtful gesture of providing a bottle of water and four coffee capsules. At the checkout, the person in charge came to speak with us. She was friendly, understanding and receptive to our complaints, which I appreciated. Her attitude was a positive aspect. The silence in the house, despite its location.

  The location is extremely difficult to find independently. It is situated in a small, unlit alley, with no signs or indications outside the property. To make matters worse, the address provided on Booking.com does not correspond exactly to the accommodation, and the message we received before arrival actually gave us the address of a different riad. This made finding the correct location even more difficult. After several phone calls and repeated difficulties finding the property, I would have expected someone to come and meet us, especially as I was travelling with my 84-year-old mother. I understand that an airport transfer had been offered, but since I had arranged for a friend who lives in Marrakech to pick us up, I expected the riad to provide reasonable assistance upon arrival. Unfortunately, this did not happen. I eventually had to pay a near by shop employee to help us find the property, and even he had to call the riad twice before locating it. Once we finally reached the riad, with no sign or identifying plaque at entrance, the staff member, who came to open de door, was very friendly, but the overall arrival experience was unnecessarily difficult and disappointing. We arrived late, at around 10 pm, and it was only upon our arrival that the possibility of having breakfast the following morning was mentioned. After having dinner, we asked at around 10:40 pm whether breakfast could be arranged. Unfortunately, this was not possible, which was disappointing given that the option had only been brought to our attention upon arrival. Furthermore, there was no microwave in the accommodation, and the gas cooker could not be used because there was no way to light it. We only received a lighter that afternoon, meaning that the cooker was unusable until then. These limitations made it difficult to prepare or heat even simple food. Another concern was the in-room safe.

  Optamos por el transporte que se nos ofreció desde el aeropuerto y es recomendable para llegar la primera vez, después es fácil acceder y la ubicación es muy buena. Camas nuevas vestidas en blanco que resaltan la luminosidad del espacio. Las baldosas, puertas y rejas originales le dan un ambiente auténtico. Agradecer a Amal y su equipo la predisposición a ayudar y los desayunos preparados in situ.

  Por proponer alguna mejora, se podría cambiar la cerradura ya que costaba un poco abrir/cerrar. Uno de los baños era muy bajo para ponerse bien de pie y estaría bien que tuviese un espejo.

  L'appartement présente des courants d'air importants en raison d'une isolation insuffisante. Dans la 3 eme chambre, le système de climatisation réversible était hors service, tandis que la salle de bain s'est avérée trop exiguë et le plafond trop bas pour permettre de se tenir debout. Nous avons constaté que le mobilier était exclusivement destiné à la location, notamment avec un canapé 2 place et Veuillot. Le confort fait défaut, ce qui engendre une réelle déception au regard du prix.
