This review is very, very late as we stayed in January/February. We absolutely loved this riad! The staff were fantastic. They were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and it was the best orange juice we've ever had! We especially liked coming back to the riad in the afternoon for some mint tea on the patio before heading back out sightseeing. During our 2 weeks in Morocco we travelled around the country a bit, but we couldn't wait to get back to Marrakech and to Dar Essalam. We had dinner in the restaurant our last night and the staff pulled out all the stops and we truly felt like VIPs. We loved it and the staff were truly wonderful. It was a great stay!

Everything about the hospitality and room was excellent. The staff were always on hand to help and nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed in the Luxury Room which was spacious, comfortable and decorated nicely. However (and this is the only reason for leaving a star off the rating) it is situated beneath the roof terrace which is popular and has a bar open until 11pm. We did invest in some earplugs and they helped somewhat. If you are out anyway until late at night enjoying Marrakech then this won’t be an issue for you!
