    enjoyable with a few annoying aspects.

    The property itself is good. However, getting in for the first time was difficult and involves several stages. I had a conversation over an intercom with a lot of street noise in the background ( that is pretty constant) and struggled to understand the person on th end of the line. It took several goes and 15 minutes.

    It is a noisy area as there is constant traffic noise and also train noise from the bridge. The lighting in the room is dim and hard to read by.

    Ideal position to explore Porto's riverside.

    Excellent location to explore the old parts of Porto. Beautiful views of the bridge from the apartment. Easy access to lots of bars and restaurants on the river bank, and a small market. Cross the bridge to Gaia and there's more things to visit. Porto is vibrant, so expect it to be a bit noisy at times. It didn't spoil our stay though.

    The funicular nearby was out of order so not in use. There are very steep steps, next to the apartment, that take you up into the town. Not good if mobility is restricted, but there are more gradual roads to take you up there.

    Happy to return here in future

    Location!! Self-contained apartments with great views.

    We’d booked for 3 adults and needed twin beds instead of a double, which had been confirmed on the booking but in reality, not available. Our hosts provided linen for my son to sleep on the couch which worked out okay but not ideal for a large adult.
