    The location was excellent being right on the canal with all the bars and restaurants.

    Poor initial communication with the host I had to send 3 emails before we got the instructions for entry. Entry itself was also difficult and impossible if your phone ran out of charge as this was done via your mobile at the different doors to gain entry. The room was not the one we had seen on the website and although it overlooked the canal it was very noisy especially at 5 in the morning when the garbage collection and street cleaning took place. A visit to the bathroom in the night was also very noisy due to the very squeaky floor boards. A second role of toilet paper would have been welcome : the bed had no headboard and only two very thin pillows. Andrea did kindly send us information for cafes and restaurants nearby which was very welcome. The accommodation was quite cheap by Milan standards and we got what we paid for.
