Our stay at River Stay Homestay by Wanderlust was a delightful experience. Although it served as a stopover on our journey to Chakrata, it turned out to be much more than just an overnight halt. Nestled in a lush green setting on the banks of a tributary of the Tons River, the homestay offers a peaceful retreat away from the bustle and noise of Dehradun, while still being conveniently located with excellent connectivity. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious home-cooked food, prepared with care and served with genuine warmth. It added a comforting, homely touch to the entire experience. A special mention also goes to the access to the swimming pool at their sister property, which the kids absolutely loved. The homestay is thoughtfully equipped with all the essential amenities, including a well-maintained pantry for guests who prefer to prepare a quick meal or snack. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and hospitable, always ensuring that every little requirement was taken care of. Overall, River Stay Homestay by Wanderlust offers a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and heartfelt hospitality. We would gladly recommend it not only as a convenient stopover but also as an excellent choice for a longer, relaxing stay while exploring Dehradun and its beautiful surroundings.

I like the property and the good part is the care takers Pawan and Vipin are very good. They were very welcoming in behaviour. The food was amazing.
