My booking was cancelled without notifying me
On the day of check-in I contacted the property for check-in instructions and got a reply saying my booking had been cancelled over a month ago, without me having been notified. When contacting hotels.com, I was told this was not correct and that according to their records, my booking had not been cancelled. I am not sure whether this is the fault of hotels.com or the property, but in any case this is extremely unprofessional and very unconvenient for us as we were left without accommodation for the night. I had already paid for the booking and am still waiting for the refund.

Awesome views in a reasonably quiet area. All you need with a decent size room. However there are a few things to bear in mind. We were there for 4 days in March and the sun beats down and heats the room up very quickly through the awesome panoramic windows. The really poor thing is we ran out of water twice. My wife was in the shower at 0830 and had just put conditioner in her hair and absolutely no water what so ever. The same problem happened w days later. Not good and the only reason we would not go back there. If you are lucky enough to have enough water it’s a good base to stay and travel around the area.

The name doesn't lie when you can see both the river and the vineyard easily from the ceiling-floor windows! very tranquil and beautiful. walking distance from cellar door and gin tasting.

Great views!
Great views of the vineyard and distant hills/river. 5 min drive to shops. Turner Stillhouse (distillery) and Tamar Ridge Cellar Door are located on the grounds, only a 5min walk for wine or gin tasting.
