Towels were provided but weren’t freshly washed & smelt very stale & musty.

Lovely place to stay in a fab location
The location of the bothy was exceptional. A short walk to the harbour, coastal path, restaurants and parking. It was very clean, and the bed was nice and comfy. The kitchen appliances worked well and the cookware was good quality. We also loved the shower pressure! It was great that the bothy was dog friendly, and we appreciated that a little dog bowl and some leads were provided 😊 The guide book was helpful and enabled us to find some great walks.
We felt that the bothy was missing some basic bits that would have improved our stay (e.g. tea, coffee, salt, oil, spare bin bags). There was also a small leak upstairs and a recurring boiler fault -- neither of which really affected our stay, but given how much we paid,, we wouldn't expect them.

Loved it, Solva is beautiful and The Bothy ideal for couples - will definitely be back.
It’s in the perfect location. Comes equipped with everything you need. Beds are super comfy. Living room is cosy. It’s well set up for dogs. The bothy was clean and well looked after - not unclean or tired as some reviewers have suggested - there are some marks here and there but on a dog by the beach type holiday that’s what you want in my opinion - if it’s pristine it’s just stressful worrying that they’ll ruin something.

Visiting family and exploring the area, this was an excellent base to do this from.
Very well equipped though we ate out each day so didn't use most of it , only coffee making. Good location quiet and scenic. Solva and it's beach is a gem.
Wooden dining furniture a bit tired looking due to water marks could use a refresh. Shower accessory basket rusty which spoilt the look of the shower room. Just minor things really. Overall happy great location and would return.
