    Misleading photos hid a dilapidated, neglected property; please read negative reviews befor booking

    The location of the property was excellent. The online pictures of Riverside looked absolutely amazing. Collecting the keys from the lock box on arrival was also very easy.

    Unfortunately, the amazing pictures belied the truth. Upon entry, we were greeted by an instant dirty smell, which we traced to a filthy mop and bucket left in a cupboard. It was clear all the floors had been washed with this dirty mop, meaning nowhere in the property was actually clean. This dirt was not the result of just one poor clean, but rather the appearance of years of neglect. The toilet smelled heavily of damp and was unclean, and the fixtures and fittings throughout were completely dilapidated. I strongly advise the next holiday person to look closely at other negative reviews on Booking.com before choosing here, as they completely match our disappointing experience. We were highly dissatisfied with both the facilities and the host.

    Was good for the 2 night stay for me and my family in a good location .

    The location was really good for my son’s wedding at The Orangery . Very quiet and good walks for dog along river . Beds were very comfortable and much appreciated after a busy day .

    Some bits and pieces were a little worn looking , kitchen cupboards and shower . However it was very clean .
