Nice location and great food!
The hotel is located on the Hadrian's Wall trail. I stayed in an independent cabin with great view of the field. The restaurant was great, both dinner and breakfast.
The bathroom is tiny and a little bit old.

A marvellous stay for eskimos
The staff and location were amazing. We were guests at a wedding a few miles away at 1pm, check in time was 3pm . They very kindly allowed us to leave our bags in our accommodation as the pub would be closed by the time the wedding was over. We stayed in the chalets at the back of the pub, clean, and comfy beds. The breakfast was amazing, beautifully cooked and presented even catering for gluten free, And again lovely staff.
We were frozen!!! Malfunction with the heating and no one to contact at a late hour meant we slept, or tried to, in our coats!! Wish we'd had a wooly hat. A clear sky and 5 degrees in a wooden chalet, albeit cute, not pleasant.

Location was perfect Food very good Cute chalet/cabin
Shame we couldn't get the heating working Didn't fancy going back to the bar to get help in the rain and we were so tired.
