Hospitality in excellent Recidency.
Hospitality by mr. Gonbo and family. They arranged taxi from airport, invited me with warm and involved welcome!

Best Basecamp!
The room, shower and bed were very comfortable and clean. But most importantly, Gonbo is an incredible host and has sweet personnel around him. We spend 3 days to acclimatize in Leh, he advised us to do the beautiful Markha valley trek, we came back, he arranged us an amazing driver for Nubra/Pangong and then we came back for a third time. He is very hospitable, funny and experienced. Great advise with a great network of people around him, but not pushing at all. The food was amazing as well, with vegetables from the garden. We were very happy to have found this gem of a 'basecamp' in Ladakh!

You get a lot for your money here: excellent service, comfort, and hospitality.
You get a lot for your money here: excellent service, comfort, and hospitality. Great location - close enough to the city centre to easily walk to the main market and central square. The rooms are spacious, and there are also several lovely terraces and a garden where you can relax. The host is extremely friendly and helpful and really goes the extra mile to make sure guests have everything they need, such as arranging motorbike or scooter rentals, taxis, excursions etc. Highly recommended!

It was a peaceful refuge in Leh; our host also was incredible in going out of his way to arrange cars, local outings, and more.

One of the best places I’ve stayed in my travels
Perfect! The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the town and the valley, as well as Gonbo’s vegetable garden. I had a wonderful time, and Gonbo looked after me very well - organised everything for my hike through the Markah valley and monument visits.
