    The location was amazing, the accommodations themselves were spectacular - so thoughtful and beautiful. The property manager was exceptionally responsive and kind. Went over and above to make sure I had what I needed. Would absolutely stay here again.

    This isnt really a "didnt like" more of something to be cognizant of: Be aware that you have to go up two sets of stairs. So if you have a lot of baggage or bad knees, this may not be the place for you.

    AMAZING location - ten-minute walk from the train station, royal mile, and Calton Hill/Nelson monument directly outside the front door. There is a little garden in the back overlooking the city - amazing views. The area was tucked away from the street and felt very quiet and secluded.

    A unique home base in the heart of Edinburgh.

    This is a charming property in the perfect location. Full of history. (The renowned former owner photographers have photos in the Scottish portrait gallery.) Tree top views. Lovely courtyard. And an iron gate that had passersby wondering where it led!
