Wonderful, relaxing, beach hotel
It was perfectly placed right on the beach with Amazing surf. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially the manager who made recommendations but wasn’t the slightest bit pushy as in some hotels. The hotel is right on the road but our room (B1) was quiet even when the train passed. The room was spacious, clean and cool with a great balcony view. The Sri Lankan breakfast of roti, Dahl and coconut sambal was the best we had in our whole trip.
The only problem was we didn’t have time to stay longer

It was fantastic, this was something i really wanted for a long time.
We enjoyed the breakfast very much, it was the correct portion and it was very flavorful.
Slight lack of salt. And the sugar packets were all clumped up.

I had such a lovely stay at Rockside Cabana. I had my own cabana, which was spacious, cozy and felt very private. The view is absolutely stunning, and during the off-season the whole place was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The staff were genuinely lovely and so helpful — they even took care of my laundry. Breakfast was also really good and made the mornings easy and enjoyable. For a 3-star hotel, definitely exceeded my expectations. The combination of the beautiful setting, peaceful atmosphere, spacious cabana and genuinely kind staff made this one of my favourite stays in Sri Lanka. I’d happily come back!

We spent the last few days of our holiday at Rock Cabanas in Dalawella, and it was a perfect choice to end our trip. We had a very relaxing stay, enjoyed great food, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is beautiful, right on the beach and just next to the famous Turtle Beach, where you can see turtles and even swim with them. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend Rock Cabanas to anyone looking for a relaxing stay by the sea.
