    Great space, clean and comfortable

    There is a spacious bathroom with super shower. Comfortable bed. Good access with own entrance, to come and go as we pleased.. Clean and comfortable. Great location for our needs.

    A delightful welcoming stopping off point on the way west

    It was noisy until late as you would expect for a successful pub and we expected it and were untroubled by it

    Potential but disappointing

    Good location, nice big rooms

    Staff said room wasn’t used in a while and so no one had gone over the room before we arrived at 930pm. Room had cobwebs and spider webs in almost every corner, counted 8 spiders, 3 of which surprised me in the shower. Considering the amount we paid, you’d expect to not have to put ur hand through a web to plug your charger in. A couple of spiders, fine, expected, not unusual, - 8 spiders! I just think is abit unacceptable. Clearly no thought or care gone into ensuring the room is presentable for guests, all it needed was a duster around the room. Also the pub itself closed at 10:15 which is incredibly early for Saturday night and especially as the football was on, and was not communicated to us, which again is unfortunate and probably would’ve swayed me to stay in one of the other two choices I had. I didn’t sleep a wink all night, pillows must be so old cos ur head just sinks right to the bottom of them, no support atall.
