This was a great country place to stay near Meeker and we would stay here again!
Location along the White River on good road in a quiet by not completely isolated community. Enjoyed the drive out from Meeker on paved road and on past (used gravel county road which narrows significantly) observing several herds of Elk along the river. Loved the screened porch and listening to the river. Host/manager was helpful and responsive. Easy booking, check/in and out.
The Roosevelt house is a historical structure and with that comes very low lighting. We didn't need heat but had it been colder I'm not sure I'd been confident in using the various multiple sources scattered through the house. A mirror could be added in the front full bath and perhaps a full length somewhere.

A wonderful remote mountain getaway!
This getaway was just what we were looking to find. The River Side cabin was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being next to the river.
The bear. The owner was alerted and was looking for a immediate solution.

Exceptional
We love the area where the Rolling R is located. For what our purpose was for the cabin, it was perfect. Riley was very helpful and easy to get ahold of if we didn't anything at all. The rock house was very cozy.
