Hosts communicative. Lodge lovely. Had a great stay

Good facilities in the lodge. Very good TV access to watch a film. Lovely welcome hamper. Easy parking for 2 cars. Clean and comfortable.

The only downside was how difficult it was to get to Stamford without driving. Maybe recommended taxi services might be useful ? Uber did not respond

    Would go back again.

Location was good for a long weekend,,,,, Rutland Water, Burghley House, and Stamford on the doorstep or just relax on the decking/hot tub right on the lakeside...very peaceful.

Will definitely return, the hosts were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us!

The property was clean and beautifully presented. The view alone not to mention the tranquility of the surroundings was so picturesque.

    Absolutely nothing!

Stunning way to spend a birthday weekend!

We had an absolutely incredible stay. It was my partners birthday and the hosts put up balloons, a banner and also left some prosecco and chocolates in the fridge. The property is stunning, in a quiet location and the decking, hot tub, furniture and jetty are a dream.

Couldn’t jump off the jetty and swim in the lake it backs on to due to being on a water ski’ing stretch which was a shame.
