Highly recommended
The apartment was clean, bright and had everything you could possibly need. Communications with Monica and Emanuele were friendly and all queries responded to quickly and nothing was too much trouble....like you were being welcomed into their home and it felt like home. The location was superb.
Nothing. Brilliant place to stay

The location near the Vatican was the apartment’s main positive, but our experience was disappointing, particularly the reception and cleanliness. Monica was polite, welcoming, and very responsive in our text exchanges, and we appreciated her allowing a late checkout when we requested it. Unfortunately, this did not make up for the reception we received, the bedding issue, and the cleanliness concerns.
Emanuele, who checked us in, asked about our nationality, and we noticed a complete change in his attitude afterward. He became very rude and shouted that he did not want to repeat the instructions, even though he had not started explaining anything and we had never asked him to repeat himself. When we spoke to each other in our own language about our luggage, he told us he understood our language in a tone we found threatening. We were not discussing him. This made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome from the start. The bunk bed shown in the photos and listed in the apartment description was one of the reasons we chose this property. However, they refused to provide linens for it without an additional charge, saying they would only prepare bedding for the number of guests booked. We were four guests and were not requesting space for an extra person; we simply needed separate beds because two guests did not wish to share. Having an advertised bed available and charging for linen in the invoice but being unable to use it with bedding without paying extra was frustrating. Cleanliness was also below expectations. Some kitchen cups still had stains and the kettle was full of residue, and when I accidentally dropped my towel on the bathroom floor, it came away dirty. The provided towels smelled unpleasant, like vinegar, and one had brown stains. The windows also had no mosquito screens, leaving no protection against insects when opening them for ventilation. The paid parking space was extremely tight, even for our small car. We did not feel it was worth the charge and would recommend considering street parking where available. The extensive house rules—literally a book—and the large deposit also added to the unwelcoming atmosphere. To be fair, Monica was polite, and very responsive in our text exchanges, and we appreciated her allowing a late checkout when we requested it.
