A truly unforgettable stay in a beautiful castle full of history, charm, and character.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Castello di Montestrutto. Everything was amazing from beginning to end. The place itself is truly special — full of history, charm and character, with a beautiful atmosphere that makes the stay feel completely different from a normal hotel experience. You can really feel how unique the property is. Everything was very well taken care of, and we felt comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. It was one of those places that becomes part of the trip itself, not just somewhere to sleep. We’re very happy we chose to stay here and would absolutely recommend Castello di Montestrutto to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic experience in Italy. We would definitely come back!

Magnificent trip to yesterdays glory 🤩
It’s a real castle 🤩 Maybe a bit robust but in a good way. No “chrome or blinking lights”, just the authentic castle feeling. Liked it very much 👊
Those 236 steps (or the path) might be too much for some, but doable for people with average condition. Moreno delivered suitcases up and is a wonderful, friendly person 😊

Absolutely stunning views, lovely community, incredible castle with interesting history, in a perfect location. Communication was excellent and all our feedback about aspects of the property that needed improvement were taken on board quickly and amiably. The staff who service the property were efficient and incredibly helpful, eager to assist, and prompt in their replies.
Some of the beds were uncomfortable and there were some minor maintenance issues but this was all addressed with the owner.
