  A great short break in the Warwickshire Countryside

  The whole experience from start to finish. From booking the break to the communication received from the Host to the time we left was fantastic. The property was very clean and very well equipped. The decor is quirky and individual. The beds were very comfy and the location of the property was ideal for us. Located a short journey outside Stratford in the beatutiful countryside. There was no light pollution or noise from the road at all. There are 3 Cottages and a Farmhouse behind Romeo Cottage but they in no way impact the location. There were others in the properties when we were there but apart from hearing them leave in the morning and arrive in the evening in their vehicles, there was no noise at all. The Hot Tub was an added bonus and my son and I spent a fair bit of time in it over our 5 day break. It was lovely sitting in there at night with a (plastic) glass of Fizz with the hot tub lights on enjoying the peace and tranquility. The Garden area is also spot on and if we returned in the Summer, we would certainly make use of it. There was tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk provided on arrival and the property had plenty of cutlery and crockery for use. (Including plastic glasses for the hot tub). The set up of the Cottage meant that both our son and us had our own privacy. There was plenty of room for all. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

  I only wish the break had been longer. I was not ready to come away on Friday and would happily have stayed on. There are absolutely no negatives to leave.

  The cottage is in a great spot, easy to get to local tourist attractions. Having the hot tub is a lovely touch. The lady who manages the property was very nice and gave lots of useful information ahead of our stay.

  We were a bit disappointed with the reality of the cottage. It’s very dated, and a bit shabby, and while I know that it’s clearly advertised as open plan, two of the beds are actually in the living/kitchen area behind a curtain. On reflection it seems that a lot of the photos are AI generated. The price was very good though but actually more reflective of the accommodation than what the photos suggest.

  Had everything you needed, lovely hottub. Quiet location & handy for the Park & Ride.

  Place looked tired & in need of decorating. Shower door was almost off its runners!
