    Charming Rural Stay Near Tuscany’s Highlights

    Our stay at the house was truly a pleasure! It’s a wonderful place to immerse yourself in the authentic, rural Tuscan atmosphere – it felt like something out of a movie. At the same time, the location is extremely convenient for short day trips to Siena, Cortona, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Perugia, and many other breathtaking spots in this part of Tuscany. The staff was lovely – always helpful, friendly, and available when needed. Despite some small remarks, I would definitely recommend this place – it’s well worth it!

    If you’re planning to spend more time at the house itself, it’s good to be aware that there’s a noticeable smell from a nearby farm and a train that passes relatively close. However, this wasn’t an issue for us, as we were out exploring the area every day. One small suggestion: it would be fairer to future guests if all additional charges – such as for air conditioning, final cleaning, and tourist taxes – were clearly stated in the property description on Booking.com.

    Amazing vacation and a great place to stay with kids for sightseeing and relaxing

    Beautiful Tuscan villa with amazing surroundings, great and well kept courtyard and pool. Even though there are several appartments, it felt really private and it felt we had the whole villa for ourselves. The Granaio appartment was great, very clean with nice big bathrooms and an amazing rustic kitchen. We appreciated how the whole house interrior was refurbished in the original style, it was well made to the smallest details. The outdoor was amazing for the children and very relaxing for adults. Location is good, less then hour drive to Siena, Perugia, Arezzo and the charming small italian villages we visited. The host, Romina, was very nice and welcoming and available for all our requests.

    It would be useful to have basic groceries (oil, salt, sugar, coffee) as the stores are not reachable on foot.
