    Poor level of cleanliness in accommodation

    A large spacious apartment with 2 shower rooms.

    The apartment was grubby and in need of upgrading, in a street that was very rundown. Oven tray had food residue in it. The window blinds in 2 of the bedrooms were broken and only 1 bedroom had any place to hang clothes. A mismatched number of glasses with only 1 wine glass. There were several other issues but the worst was seeing the stains on the quilt cover when going to bed on the first night (photos attached), obviously the linen had not been changed between guests but merely turned over in the hope it would not be noticed! Despite contacting the host several times with a question about access before arrival, and then again during our visit to request they rectify the dirty linen issue we were ignored each time.

    Uncomfortable beds - old mattresses, broken window blinds, dirty kitchen cupboards, bedroom door wouldn't shut, bathroom door didn't lock

    Clean. Everything we needed.

    Issue with beds - mattresses sunk when sat/lay on - maybe damaged/broken bases. Corridors didnt appear to have been cleaned during our stay - dirt and some blood (sounded like there was a fight/argument on our first night) Graffiti on walls outside. Someone opened our appartment door one day but had disappeared when we investigated. Wasn't aware until we arrived that one of the bathrooms had no toilet.
