  Room ok, no internet connection to tv so it didn’t work but experience terrible. Would not return or recommend unfortuna

  Someone had soiled the bathroom and landing carpet. There was human waste on the walls, toilet bowl, floor which then continued into the landing and stairs. Being outside of room 6, the smell was disgusting. The person made no attempt to clean it up.

  Lovely accommodation not suitable for single female travellers

  The property looked modern and was clean on arrival.

  The shared bathroom was not maintained or cleaned during my stay. I understand it was used by all guests on my floor; however, the toilet facilities outside my room were consistently in a poor condition. There was urine on the toilet seat and floor, along with used tissues left on the floor. It was very uncomfortable having to use these facilities. The location, in terms of nearby amenities, was excellent. However, the room itself was disappointing. The walls were extremely thin, and I could clearly hear a fight and argument taking place in the room below. As a solo female traveller, this made me feel incredibly uneasy. It reached the point where I avoided going to the toilet because I was worried they would hear me and potentially confront me. There was also nobody available to contact after 10 p.m., which was very disappointing. The only option provided was to call 999 in the event of an emergency. I ended up having someone stay with me until relatively late on the second night because I was so frightened. The morning after the incident, I emailed the property asking if the occupants of the room below could be reminded, anonymously, to be considerate of the guests around them. My email was completely ignored. It was not even acknowledged, and over a month later I am still waiting for a response. Overall, the house felt very unsafe, particularly as a woman travelling alone. While the location was excellent, the lack of cleanliness, poor soundproofing, absence of staff support, and complete lack of response to my concerns made this a very disappointing stay.
