    Overall a good experience.

Beautiful old building. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Facilities and extra touches like fresh milk in fridge very good. Location ideal for festivals.

Decor and bathroom fitting was nice but finishing needed some attention. Climb to top floor a bit gruelling and likely to be very hot up there in summer. Noise from street cleaners/refuse removal disturbed sleep from very early morning (though we did have window open).

    Great Location

Great location at the best end of the Promenade. Good value for money. Useful Kitchenette withe tea bags, coffee and semi skimmed milk provided.

We found the entry code front door and bedroom locks difficult and stressful to use. We stayed in Room 2. The shower was extremely difficult to get in and out of, because it had sliding doors that didn't open wide enough. I think the shower was a mixer tap and not thermostatic, as it was difficult to get the right temperature. The room wasn't serviced daily.
