A pleasant, welcoming and comfortable stay in a lovely part of the country

Well appointed, clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Lovely rear garden. Property owners next door were very helpful when faulty toaster set off smoke alarm and they provided new toaster The online tourist guide was very useful and informative. The welcome pack was good

Difficult access on narrow road and problem for visitors with car. Directions didn't include street names and difficult to direct visitors. A small hand drawn street map of the village and key locations would have been helpful and encouraged access on foot. NB other family members were staying elsewhere in the village A small extra shelf in the en suite bathroom would have been appreciated. The bedsteads were a little creaky. A spare bin bag for the kitchen would have been useful as would more precise instructions about what to do ans when on bin day.

Beautiful location, fabulous walks on your doorstep, the locals are all so friendly. Love Braithwaite!

The garden is beautiful and loved the sound of the babbling brook at the end of the garden. The upstairs was light and airy with fabulous views. Very clean and with lovely decor.

The main living room was quite dark and sofa a little uncomfortable, it felt quite cold at times and we couldn’t find the thermostat anywhere. Also no information on where to find it.

    Would defo book again

Great location, loads of walks, hikes and trail runs straight from the doorstep. Nice enclosed garden for the dogs. A few local pubs and all serve food and dog friendly. A local store for all the essentials. Keswick is a nice walk if you need anything else, but also easy to jump on the bus or use the car.
