    Lovely stay in a very quant cottage for our weekend with friends, meeting in Buxton, recommended

    Excellent cottage - really convenient location just 15 mins from Buxton and Bakewell. Ideal for exploring the area.

    Parking was limited - we had two cars and could fit them in the designated parking but it was kerbside, passengers need to get out before you park so you can fit snuggly. BUT it wasn't a massive issue tbh , just worth noting.

    Lovely place, would like to go again.

    The cottage is charming, very pretty and comfy. The location is delightful, river just across the road, splendid pub 5 minutes walk away under a towering viaduct carrying the Monsal Trail above - spectacular. Host helpful and friendly. Would like to go again.

    Fairly fast road for a country village but not really a problem.

    It was cosy and well equipped.

    No local WiFi meant we couldn't watch the football. Parking was tight.
