    Historic property in a gorgeous location beside the Thames. Outdoor seating and food available beside the river and the ancient bridge. There's a gorgeous walk along the river, and ample parking. Checking in was simple and the select room I had was spacious, comfortable with a double aspect view. While there is a road nearby there's virtually no traffic after 11 so there's no noise.

    Accessing the rooms after the bar shut involves going round the back of the property and using the fire escape. Ordering at the bar was slower than I would have expected with staff it looked like dealing with orders from a screen. A little "I'll be right with you in a moment" would have been a nice touch.
